Mental Health Specialist III

ResponsibilitiesProvides therapeutic, family-oriented services to participants and their families of choice who are enrolled in the Need Adapted-Mobile Crisis Team (NA-MCT), utilizing the Parachute NYC model of care.
Applies psychotherapeutic and family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of professional services to participants and their families of choice.
Works under general direction.
Licensure:
Valid driver's license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and/or a certificate in Family Development Credential Intensive Training preferred.
Education:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, health and human services or a related field required.
Completes Intentional Peer Support and Need Adapted Treatment Model training within three months of employment as directed by DOHMH required.
Experience:
Minimum of five years working with families in a mental health social services.
Bilingual skills may be required as determined by operational needs required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
