Job Description Job Description Provides individual and group counseling and rehabilitation therapy. Develops and maintains patient's profile. Administers and conducts standardized tests and work activities. Job Responsibility Functions as rehabilitation therapist providing individualized counseling and rehabilitation therapy. Administers standardized tests including vocational tests, testing of motor ability, skill level and socialization tests as required. Develops patient profile, prepares written case summaries, treatment plans, progress reports and feedback notes.Maintains patient confidentiality. Conducts rehabilitation therapy groups teaching useful work activities.Activities include vocational, social and leisure time activities. Utilizes community resources to assist with rehabilitation discharge planning.May provide follow-up counseling and support. Attends in-service training and professional case supervision programs. Maintains current knowledge of relevant Federal, State and local legislation on rehabilitation issues. May assist with training students and volunteers as required. Performs related duties, as required. ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification Master's Degree in Rehabilitation CounselingORMaster' Degree in Recreational Therapy. Certification by the National Council for Therapeutic RecreationORMaster's Degree in a related field (i.e., Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling) plus three (3) years direct practice experience in rehabilitation counseling, required. Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CER-CRC)ORLicensed Mental Health Counselor (LIC-LMHC) depending on program assignment, required Previous experience with psychiatric population is preferred.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
