We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team.
As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.
This plays an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both owners and and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Assist with floor care, including buffing, waxing, and polishing - Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties - Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks Requirements:
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods Please note that this position will require every other weekend and mandatory overtime for snow removal based on our needs.
