- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update any necessary information - Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed - Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficient in using phone systems and computer software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus We are seeking a reliable and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team.
