The scope of responsibilities includes enrolling families, maintaining attendance and continuous family support.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have an AA Degree or higher in Human Services/Social Work Applicants with a Family Development Credential will be strongly considered Must have one (1) years' experience in a social service and/or preschool setting.
Must have the knowledge and ability to relate to families from diverse cultures.
Must be able to work with community groups and partners.
Must be computer literate and be able to utilize Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other various databases.
Must have good communication skills and be fluent in verbal and written English.
Must have a flexible schedule.
Must be a U.
S.
citizen or have a green card.
Must complete screenings from the NYC Department of Investigation and the NY State Central Registry.
The DOI fingerprint fee is $101.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Recruiting and enrolling children and families.
Developing and maintaining a referral system for assisting with family needs and goals and to empower families.
Developing and maintaining working relationships with community resources/partners.
Assisting in encouraging parents to be involved in all components and programs of the center.
Assisting families in obtaining proper health, dental and nutrition services, and maintaining current and accurate records of all medical and dental screenings.
Establishing and maintaining open communication with families, staff and community partners.
Assisting with the implementation and facilitation of parent and staff workshops.
Compensation:
$36,085.
00 - 40,429.
